In this mystery miniseries, originally aired on public broadcasting, a former Scotland Yard detective Albert Tyburn (Trevor Eve) is sent to Nairobi to lead a new criminal investigation unit, where he encounters a complex mix of blackmail, murder, and passion. As he works to fight crime in this gritty city, he also must contend with the colonialistic leanings of the country`s expatriate population. In HIDE IN PLAIN SIGHT, Tyburn must face off with an intimidating witch doctor after a young girl dies suspiciously in a nearby Christian mission. In the midst of dealing with anger from the local tribe, blackmail, and a trail of manufactured evidence and hidden identities, Tyburn`s relationship with the lovely Emma Fitzgerald (Susannah Harker) develops into something more serious.
