Then he oxidizes the silver to make it look ancient and hand-cuts and sets a shard of ancient Roman glass to give this necklace its dazzling color. This necklace adds a universal touch from its use of the Eastern Yin Yang which symbolizes the possible harmony of opposites in the world. The delicate box chain measures 16-inches long. The Roman glass is nearly 2000 years old. A story card explains how the color has accumulated over centuries of burial in the desert sand. The glass is regularly unearthed by archaeologists sifting through the remains of Roman Empire cities. Those shards without museum value may be bought by artisans. The handcrafted nature of this product will produce slight variations in color, form, and sizing. All measurements are approximate. Please do not get your jewelry wet.
