Kazuma is a genetically mutated human who possesses special powers and abilities. His mutations occurred in the aftermath of an environmental disaster that destroyed much of the country. Although humanity has begun rebuilding their cities, the humans who were genetically affected by the disaster like Kazuma have come to be known as Alters. In these episodes, Kanami and Kimishima find themselves placed under arrest by HOLD after they storm the Lost Ground. Enraged, Kazuma starts an all-out fight that triggers some serious seismic activity and opens a portal to the Other Side .
