In Mexico, sugar is pressed into solid cones, sold in markets, and used to sweeten coffee, tea, and other beverages. Inspired by antique wood sugar molds, our candleholders have an intriguing history and elegant simplicity. Each is handmade in Mexico from mango wood, fitted with hand-blown glass inserts, and completed with a cast-iron stand. Medium (holds 6 candles) is about 6-1/2Hx20Wx3-1/2D". Large (12 candles) is about 6-1/2Hx38-1/2Wx3-1/2D". Each comes with a set of cone-shaped paraffin candles dipped in beeswax.
